Custom pet mug
I love my dog more than most things on this planet, and I know I am not alone in this. Grabbing a mug to make my morning cup of tea that has my boy's face on it, gives me so much joy. I wanted to share this joy with others.
Dishwasher safe and made from the sturdy durable stoneware. With every handmade and hand painted piece, shapes and designs. may vary ever so slightly . That is to be celebrated, as the piece is one of a kind and not made by a machine!
Please upload your pet photograph using the button above - If you could name the photo with your name, that would be wonderfully helpful. For the best results, please upload a clear, high-resolution photograph taken in good natural light. I can only paint what I can see, so the clearer the photo, the better your finished mug will be!
Mug capacity 437ml (to the brim); a lovely large cup of tea or coffee!
Pet portrait will be painted in a delft blue, and will be a head shot of the pet unless instructed otherwise- exceptions to this will be for smaller pets e.g. a cat curled up. I am, first and foremost an oil painter and I have painted countless pet commissions, so I have become quite accustomed to using my artistic license and intuition to produce the best piece of art possible. Portrait will be as close likeness to your pet as possible. Due to the nature of pottery underglazes, there will be a degree of blurring, as you can see in the images above.
