Make a ceramic keepsake from your pregnancy while spending an evening with Holly, a local ceramicist who is also expecting her first baby! Option 1: Make your bump bowl In this first session, we'll mould your bowl from your bump in stoneware clay. You'll then personalise the back using letter and number stamps — perhaps your baby's name, how far along you are, a date, or a phrase that's meaningful to you. Holly will then carefully take your bowl away to dry, finish, glaze and fire, ready for you to collect. Option 2: Make and paint your bump bowl Come back for a second session once your bowl has had its first kiln firing. You'll be guided through hand-painting your bowl by Holly, with complete freedom to create whatever feels personal to you. We'll make it a slow, creative evening with plenty of tea, biscuits and time to chat about everything baby. Once you've finished, Holly will add a clear glaze, fire your bowl for the final time, and deliver your finished keepsake to you.
